The M-4 Black Metal brings a sinister aesthetic to ESP's renowned bass craftsmanship, combining the build excellence of the LTD Deluxe 1000 Series with an uncompromisingly dark visual theme. This instrument features an all-black finish throughout, from its components and hardware to the specially designed black metal LTD logo adorning the headstock.
Built with bolt-on construction and a slab body design, the M-4 showcases the return of ESP's classic M profile to their bass range. The 34" scale instrument pairs a speedy maple neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard that forgoes traditional inlays in favour of glow-in-the-dark side markers, maintaining the instrument's menacing appearance whilst providing practical stage visibility.
At the heart of this bass sits a single direct-mount EMG 35CS pickup featuring a special black logo, utilising ceramic magnets and steel poles to produce warmth and punch with a smooth top end and substantial output.
